Blue Cardinal Trucking & Logistics is a women- and minority-owned transportation company founded by Carolina Da Costa and Patrick Petersen in Winchester, Virginia, servicing the Mid-Atlantic daily.
Our mission is simple: deliver reliability every mile of the way. We take pride in operating a modern fleet of 26’ box trucks that serve clients throughout Virginia, Maryland, and the Mid-Atlantic. Whether hauling contract freight, supporting Amazon Relay routes, or running dedicated logistics lines, Blue Cardinal operates with professionalism, safety, and integrity at the core of every route.
Our Operations: Efficiency Meets Excellence
At Blue Cardinal, we don’t just move freight — we manage performance. Each truck operates on a two-shift schedule, maximizing utilization and ensuring our partners have dependable delivery options both day and night. We invest in driver training, technology, and compliance systems to keep our operations efficient and transparent.
In Year 3, Blue Cardinal expanded to include an in-house maintenance division, complete with a leased facility, full-time mechanic, and stocked inventory of essential parts. This investment reduced downtime, improved safety, and created long-term savings that directly benefit our customers and drivers alike.
